Volunteering

Volunteers are critical to the success of the Baytown Blue Santa program. Baytown Blue Santa welcomes the help of all volunteers, ages 12 and up. An adult must accompany all youths under the age of 17.

Los voluntarios son esenciales para el éxito del programa de Baytown Blue Santa. Baytown Blue Santa da la bienvenida a la ayuda de todos los voluntarios, mayores de 12 años. Un adulto debe acompañar a todos los jóvenes menores de 17 años de edad.

 
 

Toy Drop Boxes

If you have a location you feel could collect toys and you would like to sponsor a Toy Drop Box. Use the contact form and leave your information and we can arrange to leave a cardboard drop box in the lobby of the police department for you to pick up. Due to overwhelming support we are unable to deliver all of the drop boxes.

  • A volunteer may come and check the box throughout the season to help get toys quicker to the program and assigned to a family in need.

*Location must be secure to prevent people from taking the donated toys from the boxes.

Si tiene una ubicación que cree que podría coleccionar juguetes y le gustaría patrocinar un Toy Drop Box. Utilice el formulario de contacto y deje su información, y podemos hacer arreglos para dejar un buzón de cartón en el vestíbulo del departamento de policía para que lo recoja. Debido al apoyo abrumador, no podemos entregar todos los buzones.

Un voluntario puede venir y marcar la casilla durante toda la temporada para ayudar a que los juguetes lleguen más rápido al programa y se asignen a una familia necesitada.

We will meet at our space at 111  YMCA Drive in Baytown, across the road from the police department and begin the process of wrapping all of the gifts. If you would like to volunteer show up at the above location during the time posted in our Upcoming Events Tab and we will find something for you to help do.

*Since we do not know ahead of time how many volunteers we will have, when they will arrive or how many families we will provide for, we are unable to guarantee there will be something for everyone to do. Jobs will be presented on a first come, first serve basis
